- If you have a tax problem with the IRS and want face to face assistance, visit your local IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs), no appointment is necessary.
- You must bring your original Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) for you and all claimed dependents. If you don’t have one you can contact your local Social Security office to obtain a replacement card. You can use the Social Security Office Locator Finder.
